A student’s performance on standardized tests is an importnat part of your school record that will be reviewed by universities from which you apply.. Be sure to see Mrs. Carrie Fowler our Guidance Counselor to assist in the scheduling of testing dates as well as preparing for a test.

ACT and SAT
The ACT is accepted by all colleges in the U.S.; however there may be benefit from also taking the SAT. Taking these tests by the begining of your Junior year is expected. See the guidance office for practice exams and help signing up for the testing dates.
TOEFL
The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is required of all non-native speakers of English. Since 2005-06 the TOEFL has been given in the United States as an internet-based test. See the guidance office for information on how to schedule a test date.
