 The Raven Baseball Team is in its second year under the direction of head coach Phil Baniewicz. The program is rebuilding and the 2012 season looks to hold much promise. Baniewicz was a successful state champion coach in Arizona and he continues to build the program here with the same approach that worked in the Valley of the Sun. The decision to start six underclassmen last year should begin to pay dividends in 2012. Eight starters return to the diamond and could surprise the DVL this spring.
